Proud History of Progressive Activism
Charles is a long time activist for many progressive causes. In early 2017 Charles helped found Anyone but Nats (ABN) to highlight the generational failure of the NSW National Party to address significant issues in the schools, hospitals and emergency services in NSW. ABN also shone a bright light on the environmental policy failings and the duplicitous behaviour of local National members in selling out their constituents to big gas and coal mining businesses in Western NSW.
Anyone but Nats garnered significant media interest in the 2019 State Election and helped evict the Nationals from the NSW seat of Barwon after 69 years of National mismanagement.
During the 2022 Federal election Charles was deeply involved in the Vote Angus (Taylor) Out campaign in the Federal seat of Hume.
SureMoney – Supporting front line workers
SureMoney was started to provide personal finance services to front line workers in Nursing/Health, Education, Emergency Services workers and other Government employees. Having personally experienced the issues plaguing workplaces such as Health and Education, one of SureMoney’s prime objectives is to support the industrial campaigns in these workplaces.
From Rations in Health to staff and remuneration in Education, SureMoney is committed to spending 10% of our Communication budget promoting and raising awareness of key industrial campaigns in the Health and Education workplaces.
Additionally, SureMoney provides an opportunity for investors who are seeking both an ethical investment opportunity and a secure profitable investment.
Prior to SureMoney, Charles had founded, with his long term business partners, 3 large technology companies (CICtechnology, Harbour IT and Harbour ISP) during a 40 year technology career.
